Clear aligners in Enfield
A single-chair clear-aligner course with the same dentist running every fortnightly pick-up, plus High Street walk-ups when a tray goes missing.
Clear aligners around a busy Enfield life
Clear aligners straighten your teeth with a series of near-invisible, removable trays. For adults who do not want metal braces, they fit around work, family and everything else.

Invisible enough for work
The trays are clear and sit close to the teeth, so most people will not notice you are wearing them across a meeting, a presentation or a night out. There are no wires or brackets and nothing to show in photos.
For adults who ruled out straightening because of how braces look, this is usually what changes their mind.

Take them out to eat and brush
Because the aligners come out, there are no food restrictions and nothing gets trapped in brackets. You eat normally, then brush and floss as usual before popping them back in.
That also makes them far easier to keep clean than fixed braces, which matters for your gums over a long course.

Short visits, early slots
Aligner check-ins are brief, and at Enfield Smiles the pick-up appointments default to 8:30am on weekdays, so you can call in on the way to work rather than losing an afternoon.
The High Street location makes it easy to drop in if a tray ever needs sorting.

Keeping your new smile straight
Teeth have a memory and drift back towards where they started, so a set of clear retainers at the end is part of the treatment, not an afterthought. Worn at night, they hold the result for the long term.
We make sure you leave knowing exactly how to keep the smile you have worked for.
There's no age limit on straight teeth
Plenty of our aligner patients are straightening in their 30s, 40s, 50s and beyond. Teeth can be moved at any age; what matters is that your gums and the bone around them are healthy, which we check before we start. If your case is too complex for aligners, we will tell you and point you to a specialist orthodontist rather than overpromise.

I was with hygienist Neli at this clinic. She did a deep cleaning and treated periodontal disease. I am extremely satisfied, always smiling, very attentive and caring. I highly recommend.
Michelle the receptionist is amazing and she's always so kind to me and my family. My dentist is also super kind and friendly too.
Fantastic, thanks for looking after me, even though I got to my appointment late.

What it coversHow clear-aligner therapy works from one Enfield chair
A SmileAlign course at Enfield Smiles runs across a fortnightly pick-up rhythm. What sets the experience apart isn't the lab or the gel — both are the same as elsewhere — it's the cadence: same dentist start to finish, and a High Street location that supports walk-ups when something goes wrong mid-course.
- One dentist, scan to retention. The same clinician runs the intra-oral 3D scan, walks you through the ClinCheck simulation, signs off the plan, fits the trays, runs every pick-up, and books the retention reviews. No mid-course clinician swap.
- The fortnightly aligner pick-up is a 10-minute appointment defaulted to 8:30am weekdays, so the pathway doesn't burn afternoons on patients commuting into central London.
- Lose or crack an aligner mid-course and you can walk into Enfield Smiles on the High Street for a same-day re-fit of the previous tray or a planned jump-ahead to the next, depending on schedule position.
- Partial-treatment rescue from closed London clinics is a common reason new patients book a consultation here. Bring your last ClinCheck file and remaining trays; we re-scan against the current tooth position and splice you into the SmileAlign workflow, not restart staging from zero.
- Interproximal reduction (IPR) is staged across the course rather than front-loaded into one session, so each pick-up visit reads as routine rather than as the appointment patients dread.
- Refinement set is ordered same-day if the final scan shows 1 to 4 teeth haven't tracked to the original plan, with a 3 to 4-week UK-lab turnaround vs 6 to 8 weeks for transatlantic aligner systems. It is included in the original course fee.
- Retainers (Vivera-style) fitted at the end of the course, plus year-1, year-3 and year-5 reviews booked into the diary in advance, so retention isn't left to memory and any relapse is intercepted early.
Enfield aligner FAQs
I commute from Bush Hill Park / Edmonton, can pick-ups fit a working day?
Yes. Pick-up appointments are 10 minutes and the default slot is 8:30am weekdays. Most patients book the pick-up for a morning they're commuting in anyway, so the pathway doesn't add a trip.
What if I lose an aligner over a weekend?
Hold on to whatever you have (previous tray or a partial). On Monday morning, walk into Enfield Smiles on the High Street; we'll re-fit the previous tray or jump you to the next depending on where you are in the schedule. The High Street location specifically supports walk-ups for this reason.
Can I move my aligner case from a closed London clinic?
Often, yes. Send us your previous ClinCheck file, the remaining trays you have and the brand spec. We re-scan at the first visit, see where the actual tooth positions are vs the original plan, and splice into the SmileAlign workflow rather than make you restart. Partial-treatment rescue from closed London clinics has become common since 2024.
How does smoking affect aligner treatment?
Aligners and attachments discolour faster in smokers and the soft-tissue healing around IPR sites slows. We treat smokers but flag the cosmetic compromise and signpost to the NHS Better Health quit-smoking service before you commit, particularly for cases longer than 6 months.
Can I whiten my teeth at the same time?
Yes, and the last few weeks of aligner treatment are an efficient time to do it: the trays double as whitening trays. We sequence this so the whitening gel is loaded into the final aligners rather than fitting separate whitening trays, saving a step and matching the finish to the new alignment.
Am I committed once I've paid the consultation fee?
No. The consultation fee covers the scan and the ClinCheck simulation you'll see at the visit; if the predicted result isn't what you wanted, or aligners aren't the right tool for your case, you walk away with no further commitment. It is credited against the course fee only if you go ahead with treatment.
